Gretna Green is under a mile away from the English Border and The Lake District where excursions by cruise boat and steam train can be arranged by the hotel. The Border towns of Jedburgh and Melrose are close, and Edinburgh is only an hour away.

Heading north on the M74/A74 apporximately 7 miles north of junction 44 take the exit to Gretna/Gretna Green. The hotel is situated approximately 1/2 mile along the road on the right-hand side.
Heading south, approximately 15 miles south of Lockerbie take the junction signposted Gretna Green and follow the road round through Springfield take the first on the left for 200 yards and the hotel is on the right hand side.
